Love it! The variety of meats and all things needed. The produce allways fresh; the deli if FIRE!
I visit this Food City grocery store whenever I am in the area. A good opportunity to immerse oneself in the rich Hispanic culture, this store offers fresh produce at below market price, a good selection of Mexican cheeses, grilled chicken and grilled chilies, the latter of which are prepared on site on charcoal, respectively rotary grills, right in front of the store. The store was partially renovated recently adding a Starbucks island and a self-checkout lane.
This area has lots of variety. Food City is here, Subway, AutoZone, Filiberto’s, La Carreta De Lily, Church’s Chicken, Jack in the box, Jiffy Lube, a dentist office, a barber, and Bob’s Vape & Smoke Shop.
I typically don't shop at this Food City location but was running low on some things and completely out of others. I went to this location at around 8:30pm and loved that there weren't all that many people shopping. The store was pretty clean, considering it was closer to closing time. Some stuff, like featured sale items, were very low or completely out which was really my fault for going so late. My whole restocking trip took an hour from start to finish. Staff was pleasant and I spent like $104 on a cart full of food that included chicken, steak, ground beef, pork chops, sausage, 20 large eggs, a grand assortment of veggies, cooking oil, 10lb bag of rice, bolillos from the bakery department. Tons of stuff for a little over $100 for a family of 3. Yes, please!
The Thomas Center has much to visit. I had my car serviced at the Jiffy Lube Auto Care shop. They do a great job and are very professional. Frequent customer.
Food City has good Selection & prices. But be careful in the Parking Lot. The bussinesses should have security guards patrolling the Parking lot to keep bad people away. I see drug addicts & homeless & Shady individuals in the Parking Lot. Not safe to go by yourself. Always carry your Large Pepper Spray for protection.
Great place nice clean and the employees are very sweet they greet you ask you how your day is and tell you bye and have a wonderful day. They know how to treat guests like stores should be doing. Also the new Starbucks in it is terrific as well you must try it
Muendo is so tasty...this Food City has a Starbucks, Sushi Bar, Nice Deli, Bakery and a nice Meat Counter...Best Food City Ever...clean
